Wanted to just give some moral support for all Jodo’s efforts with Win2, and to say EXCELLENT work for having the backups only 20 mins old!
But I can’t coz posting isn’t allowed in the outages forum. 
bad thing wehave to use them, but they are working, theyare just being slower than we could ever hope.
The upside is everyone on Win2 is now going to be on a really awesome new server.

Win2 had been having a bunch of issues we could have seen this comming.

Well, very disappointed with how slow this is going. We invested in a faster system but it couldn’t be applied here. We are doing a convential restore and as Stephen said, there are millions of files.. if there were thousands of larger files, would have been MUCH faster.
I’ve seen hosts take upto 24 hours to restore large servers like this conventionally
