Fairly new to the reseller concept of our account. Just a quick question, with all of the multiple servers that are aliased in our reseller accounts, how do the user accounts get assigned to specific servers? Is this something the reseller has to set or does it happen automatically each time a new account is created?
Also how does one determien what server an account is running on?
I’m not sure about the first part of your question, but as far as finding out what server an account is on: In your CP, under your account, click on account settings and about halfway down you will see the host name. That will tell you which server your account is on.
By the way, I may be wrong, but I think that when setting up the account the server is chosen automatically by H-Sphere.

In H-Sphere Server Cluster, a new account goes on the server which is open for signup. Whenever we add a new server, we close the previous server for signup.
Depending on services a customer use, you can find out various servers in following way:
Web Server: In Customer CP, select FTP/FTP User Account, then FTP User, you will see server alias in Host Name.
Database Server: Select Databases, then Database, see server alias in Host Name.
Mail Server: For mail server, see the customer domain in his CP, ping mail.customerdomain.com and note down the IP. In Reseller Admin CP, select E.Manager, then Server alisas, then note down mail servers IPs and ping. Match the IP and find out mail server alias used by customer.
