Perhaps a stupid question but how do I find out who the Registar is.

Where or with whom did you buy the domain? Registrars are like Godaddy, NeworkSolutions, or even Tucows. If you had a designer/developer/ISP originally setup the site on a server then they should have the information.

Also you can go to www.betterwhois.com and do a domain search for the Registrar and Owner Info.

Thanks for the URL. Found them and now to transfer to a new registar and change my DNS.
