I just uploaded a .torrent file to my website, but when I try to access it, it gives a 404 error. I can zip the file and offer the download that way, but it’s a little annoying.
I suspect the .torrent extension was explicitly blocked from being downloaded from JodoHost webservers, but what’s the point? Both the torrent and the content it offers are perfectly legal..
Also, if people wanted to offer torrent downloads it would be simple to write a script that circumvents the prevention of direct downloading of the torrent files.
Any comments?
