For some reason the router upgrade announcment I never saw in the New Post area. Not sure if I just missed it or if this happen to everyone else. I just now got it by accident and warned all my clients sort of late.

Don’t know if you guys use the Send option in H-Sphere to send to all clients at once, but sometimes not always, when I use it, not all the E-mails are sent. Maybe that’s what happen in my case.
Yes, we use send option, it is the only way we hav eto mass mail all resellers, and all direct customers, never had an issue with people not getting it
we just emailed a reminder as well, so a total of two mails have been about this.

I was wondering if the upgrade is still happening. The email I recieved stated Sunday, but it’s monday and I still cannot connect to mssql7.jodoshared.com. So Im kinda curious if there is an ETA on the finish of the upgrade Turns out that referencing by name does not work anymore, but you can still reference by ip address, aka 204.10.108.38
no(as in no network changes, all was done long ago), MSSQL7.jodoshared.com works fine for me, can you tell me what tracert or ping results are?

Ok, so it is working now by name, if it doenst work again, try to get a trace at that time, I am curious why it did not work. IP has not changed on that server, ever.
Ack, I have the same error with MYSQL server found @ 204.14.107.213. But this is with PHP off the server @ zanpher.com … grr, I just changed to IP address to reference the server.
I dont know whats going on, it’s quite add, but this is now from the forums saying unable to reach server, more or less the same error I had with MSSQL via the website
No biggie though, I’ll do a direct IP reference from now on. I want to thank you for your help though. Its always comforting to know there’s someone out there eyeing this thread
I take it as part of my job to watch and reply the forums, I can’t address every issue(unix ones mostly) but, I try to make sure it gets pointed the right direction.
