Is it possible to setup virtual directories via hsphere or would one of the admins have to do it ? Some of our asp/asp.net applications would need their own application name thus they need a virtual directory.
Im assuming this is possible?
Thanks

This isn’t supported in HSphere, but our admins do it free of charge. All you’d have to do is open a ticket

How about protecting directories using integrated auth? Or would I be better off using the asp password component that comes free with the reseller account?
You can submit a ticket requesting this
Rather than open a new thread i may as well ask this also ![]()
Concerning MS SQL on a reseller account… can we create user logins with different permissions? Does backup/restore work or would admins have to do this also?
Could clients perhaps use the Web Data administrator to do backup/restore?
Thanks again
You can create user logins from the CP, but to give it DBO status, you’d need to open a ticket
All MS SQL databases are backed up automatically every 24 hours and moved to a secure backup server. We can restore a DB on request
You can use Webdata administrator to backup/restore DBs yourself. It is available to customers
