I have the value pack with 480Mb RAM. The only programs that are running always are the FTP server and IIS. When I connect with remote desktop, open SQL Management studio (2008 R2 web edition) and spend 2 minutes without doing anything server already runs out of memory. Web sites start to give errors (they are even not at production, no visitors, just testing, DB is 50Mb of size, simple and straight-forward), sql management studio is even unable to open some menues due to lack of memory.
I’m really worried about the situation. If the 480Mb memory is unable to handle anything I’m afraid any upgraded pack will run out of memory with couple of visitors + 1-2 more apps running.
Is this something everybody experiences with VPS or very unusual situation?
