We have made all the monitoring tools available to our customers to check availability of servers and important services running on it. Please visit and see - http://jodopulse.com:8090/prtg.htm
Please do not depend on other services when we have provided sufficient tools here. If you have any doubts, or your website is not working, please check with Ticket Support or LiveChat.
it was DEFINATELY not down for 15 hours. I am quite surprised of that report you have. Neither of our monitoring tools have reported such an outage. And surely if it was down for 15 hours, there would have been quite a number of threads about it on this forum already

Whether you like it or not, we (your customers) depend on other services to verify that your services are working correctly. I’m sure your tools work great, but they are not completely sufficient. Do you really expect us to take your word 100% of the time? Are we really that gullible to you?
I wish we could just take your word for it, but that’s not how the real world works. Would you hire the guy that just hit you in a car accident, who also happens to be a lawyer, to represent you against himself? Get my point?
For everybody’s sake, it’s always best to use an additional, outsourced, monitoring service to ensure up/downtime. That is, if it’s important to you.
It seems to me that if Jodo started being “economical with the truth” then it would quickly become apparent and their reputation wouldn’t be worth a dime - so it’s in their interest to be 100% honest. When it comes to downtimes, the internet is such a complex beast that all sorts of other snags can interfere with percieved speed/availability of servers. Sometimes it’s your own LAN, your ISPs WAN, routers here and there and a hundred and one other things. Using shared servers is always a compromise, but I believe Jodo honestly do their best to provide us with the best service they can and don’t pull the wool over our eyes. Sure there may be a conflict of interest, but taking advantage of customers is the road to ruin.
We are not saying not to use indepedent monitoring services, please do so. But in the past, some of the ones we have used have shown to be extremely inaccurate. That is why we put our own system in place and we depend on that. If you ever want an uptime report generated for a server, just request it and we’ll supply it from IPCheck.
However don’t expect us to give explanations for outages that you have recorded but do not tally with what we have recorded and for something no one else has complained about. It’s extremely hard because we truly have no information about it.
