I would appreciate if you could solve this today.
I’m in a delicate position as I have just put online 2 very well paid websites and unfortunately they are hosted on web2
The clients can not believe that their sites are performing about 3 times slower than in the development environment hosted on a cable network connection with only 256kb upstream
yeah. I think web2 is Unix3 on the jodopulse page. Its had really high pings on the php check all day. But simple pings are low. Not sure whats going on.
Writing helpline won’t “speed things up” as the unix staff is already working on the issue.
You siad in your mail you can’t have 24 hours downtime for the switch to another server, but we did not say it takes 24 hours downtime, we said DNS can take 24 hours, there is simply no way to do a move without DNS taking time. We can start the process when you have agreed to it, but we can not promise it will be running with DNS on the other server in less than 24 hours. It runs on both servers during the move processing time.
If can not make any changes in the site (using the cms), because I might be changing the wrong server, I will be 24 hours without using the site so 24 hours of practical downtime.
I really don’t like your wise guy awnsers, you should be helping me not fighting me, If I’m complaining it’s because I have problems with my costumers caused by problems with your servers
You would be doing a better job by solving the daily windows servers slowdowns instead of wasting your time and my by writing unnecessary stuff
Writing the helpline will not “speed things up”, but at least gave me a fast , reassuring and polite awnser witch I never had from you!
I will be writing to the helpline every time I fell I’m being harmed by any problem related to jodohost and the normal channels won’t solve it in a timely manner, and believe me if I had the jodohost owner’s email it would have been him I was writing to
Stephen was clarifying the situation as per his understanding so you atleast are aware that we are indeed working on the issue. It helps customers to know that they are not being ignored. He is just trying to help people out here while working on his regular Windows work. Maybe the organisation of words were not perfect from your perspective, but believe me intentions remain the same, to help the customers directly or indirectly. That being said, i really appreciate your email to helpline and it indeed is a channel to get your issues resolved if they arent being done upto your expectations.
Do let us know if you still see any more issues.
