web8 is awful

I have spent over 3 freaking hours trying ot load .wmv, and cubecart files onto web8. What is the problem with this server. Samething use to happen on web7.

You know how frustrated this is, to waste 3 freaking hours. X( X(

I tell you what the problem is, these files dont work well uploading. I went through every file in cube cart to find out which files are not uploading.

You guys have problems on web8 with the following files. can you check or tweak to fix this.

.XSD & .WMV

WebD,

We can test and upload these all day long at over 1.5MB/s (megabyte not megabit) we also tested web7 with no problems.

I just don’t understand. Those 2 types of files will not upload for me, but will on the other servers.

What would cause this?

Well for me uploading anything is a pain, even this post. I am on mobile connection with super weak signal and 600-800ms ping times

i wonder if my router could have somehting to do with this problem.

You can ask any techs on chat to see if they can replicate this when you see the issue. I dont know of any other report for this.
If they cant, probably you sure have to look at your router/PC.
Btw, do you have any personal firewall, etc?

I have firewall but tried turning it off. And these files work and upload to other servers no problem.

.XSD and .WMV, web8 just takes over a hour for 1 file. Very strange.

Hello WebD,

Please come on live chat, We will further assist you.

Hi WebDesignSlave.

This is an old thread and I’m wondering if you’re still having problems?

I seem to have problems with web8 right now as well. I can easily login to other servers (Windows) and it’s fine and fast.

But for web8, sometimes it doesn’t even list the directory. And it some files it takes me forever to upload.

At first I thought it was something wrong with my network or connection since there was a large thunderstorm last night, but seeing this, I wonder if it’s something else?

Does anyone else have this problem?

We’ll be looking into this

Thank you Yash!

This was a temporary issue and probably related to a compromised website that was abused badly.

Thanks tanmaya!
