SWsoft acquired Ensim Pro, Positive Software (H-Sphere and other products), and Sphera during the month of September. There are several reasons for these acqusitions, but the primary goal was expanding the OPEN FUSION technology initiative and providing software vendors (ISVs) who package their applications using the APS Standard with a larger market for their software.
With all its bugs and limitations, HSphere was a much more better product than Plesk and many people praised their support. This looks like it is going to change, and not for the better.
It is going to remain the same for the next several years, development roadmap is staying the same and the same developers/support team are still working the product.
Of all 3 products they acquired only Psoft has full support/development staff along with it, Ensim Pro they have only the product and name rights(which creates lot of confusion since ensim is having another product unify that is NOT sold, so ensim from two providers, what genius made this sale??), sphera has some select staff move over including the CEO, and hsphere had all except Igor the original Psoft CEO, he is retained at Comodo where he will presumably be working on integrating comodo SSL into the entire SWsoft product line.
