When will you be stable again?

I am so tired of getting e-mails from my clients reporting their websites are running slow. For the last month it seems like that is all I deal with and support here just replies to my tickets with “kindly check your site now”. I need our sites to be running at a usable pace. A 30-60 second load time per page is not acceptable.

It’s been getting better daily. We will be announcing some network changes this week that should help make even better, and once fully moved to new platforms and network it will be better than it has in a long time! Outside a couple servers, we’re down to just control panels and mail servers at this time on the Hsphere clusters, and once those are complete we can push the network changes. We’re evaluating even doing it before then with the network bridge it will remain working and we can get the systems live on the new side easily and quickly.

Whatever you do it has to happen fast. I can’t keep having days like this. I really understand that you are doing everything you can, but when my client’s can’t fulfill their promises to their clients because your servers are not working well it doesn’t reflect on you but on me.

I get things fixed and they seem to work for a few days or hours. Ticket 479554 needs to be fixed yesterday. Whatever they did to the database last week had the site working faster than it had in a long time. Now it’s back to not working well.

I have several sites that it is taking 30-60 seconds to load each page.

Your database size is 2.5 GB which is quiet bigger for shared database servers and could impact the performance of database . We have also replied your ticket now. Please check the same and revert us back if you face any issue further

I am also having issues that nobody can solve apparently. While the VPS is somewhat stable at the moment…but has to be restarted every morning from what I gather…htaccess is not working on the new Dedicated Server I just bought…it’s not working on One domain…but IS working on the other 4 domains I put on that server…can somebody PLEASE FIX THISSSSSS

DITTO HERE…lol

What is the status of the server migration. Last I heard it was 7-10 days. I’m still having issues and my clients are extremely pissed. This needs to be resolved ASAP so that I can actually get work done instead of babysitting websites to make sure that they are working.

From what I hear they are working hard on it…probably another week or so…just my opinion on it.

Also imo, they planned this very poorly. You can’t split MySql and websites into 2 different places and expect it to work efficietnly. They should have moved the MySql at the same time as the websites…or first at least…whatever.

A LOT of sites, if not Most, are on WP or other database driven sites. And those will be slow as hell if the database is separated from the website…and that’s what’s causing all the problems…at least it did for me.

The strange thing is they fixed it so it ran halfway decent…but every day it broke again and they had to re ‘fix’ it…whatever that was. Communication about what is happening is hard to come by.

As for myself…I moved the trouble site to a Dedicated Server, and have no more issues, since the MySql stuff and Web stuff is on the same computer now…fwtfw…z
