These days the Cold Fusion MX list is beginning to look like my Junk Mail folder, what with pimping for ******, pornography, whatever. Isn’t there a way to keep these people out?

I am changing up the human verification questions etc
I don’t have a clue why they are targetting the CF section either, I thought it was bots but I am not sure at this point they are adapting to quickly to very random human verify questions.
All forums have been hit a lot recently I’ve seen a lot of junk postings on webhostingtalk lounge and other sections as well there.

It’s been wild, the spam is getting more and more advanced. Here in the last months there have been posted questions in email section for things like"video email" someone replies them, but really exactly 24 hours later there will be a post by a new signup advertising a video email spam program(nicely deleted by me with other questions/answers left)
This has happened in several forums and I think they are breaking through the human verify systems with real humans answering using some remote method and paying them for answering…I have added some funky things in that simply wouldn’t be known by a bot.
I have temporarily set moderation on new THREADS in the coldfusion forum posts will continue unmoderated there, and any legit thread will be allowed. Not sure why that CF forum has been hit so hard but alas it has I have already removed 11 threads today.

have several moderated posts captured there not showing publicly that are all pure spam.
That’s why I usually advise my clients against adding a guestbook to their site. Just too time consuming.
