Win20 will have to be rebooted to resolve one minor matter with FTP logs.
Re: Win20 emergency reboot at 11:30pm edt
The reboot might take about 15-20 minutes at max as it might do a check disk on log drive.
This is happening in about 10 minutes.
Starting now.
Win20 is doing chkdsk well and should be done in the next 5-10 minutes.
It is showing to be 35% done.
chkdsk is still going, I can’t get a percent at the moment as it is not showing, but I will update ASAP.
Edit:
Stage2 just started.
It is still on stage2 correcting indexes.
correcting this index is taking a bit longer than I expected as the amount of files is quite small. I am going to let it go a max of 10 more minutes.
Building indexes is progressing at 45% now
about 80% now on building indexes.
Stage 3 (final stage) has started and is moving pretty good, it typically hangs a minute or two at 99% then it is finished, it is not quite to 99% yet but moving pretty good.
Booting into windows now.
IIS is now all up too.
We would have mailed this as an update had we known it would take and extra 15 minutes in time to complete. We are sorry for the extended time it was out for the reboot, but it was a required step due to a number of FTP logging errors that were happening on 2 FTP sites(not the default FTP site, a client anonymous FTP site)
