Application pools appear to be hung, again. This has happened 5 times in the last month that I know of, with a number of sites down for hours at a time. Support restart them pretty quickly once it’s reported (they have restarted one of them already), but it doesn’t fix the problem permanently. Shubham says they are already in their own application pool, they’re not heavily used sites, and they were all moved from other servers where the problem never seemed to occur, so how can this be fixed so it stays fixed?
Yes your sites are in two different app pools, one domain on win39, and 3 domains in a pool together on win38 server. What we can do is separate the win38 domains into own pools and you can see which one still has the issue then check its logs for any clues why it is dying.
Win39 since already alone should be able to check logs and see where it last responded for some clues about why it is hanging.
Those three sites on win38 are all down again, having just got connectivity back they came up with 503 errors. (RS #DOR-36267-900) These sites are long-standing and don’t have anything more than fairly simple classic asp. They were moved from older Win servers and never had any issue before. Since moving to win38 it’s definitely been getting worse. I find it hard to believe they are causing the issue, but if you could check the logs that would be great.
(I know you probably have your hands full right now…)
I have changed some setting of application pool which will help in this case. kindly check now onwards and let us know, if any issue again.
