Is there someplace that lists all of the 3rd party components that are available on the Windows 2008 Servers?
I have used persits.Upload in my .asp applications and one client was just moved from another hosting to JH. Since they were placed on the 2008 servers, I don’t have persits.Upload available. That site is being moved to a 2003 server, however, for future reference, I’d like to know what is available on the 2008 servers. (Specifically for file upload and jpg resizing)
.net only, no ASP Components on 2008. We used several initially and incredibly unstable.
To clarify, JodoHost no longer supports Persits products in classic ASP?
That is pretty old, we are installing the latest 32bit version dll, we are not installing the 64bit dll.
That would be great. I’ve just installed a forum for a client and its functionality will be greatly reduced without at least aspJpeg and aspUpload from Persits. How soon will these be in place?
They are already in place, if they aren’t working on the server you are on, submit a ticket and we will install them.
Thanks, how can I tell which servers my domains are on so I can include that info in the ticket?
Look on FTP info, it will say like winXX.domain.com the XX will be your server name, but you can just give domain and techs can ID it from there as well
