WordPress URL Rewrite on Windows Server

I have a client on a Windows Server that has a WordPress blog. The site has to be on a Windows Server because part of the site is written with ASP.

I am having conflicts with some plugins because the URL has the index.php on it. From what I’m reading, a URL Rewrite mod has to be installed on the server to be able to remove the index.php from the url.

Does anyone have experience with this and how can I get it working on my site. We are using the latest version of WordPress and the custom redirects on Theme My Login won’t work on the windows server.

Url Re-write is not supported on windows 2003 server. Please send us a support ticket with domain name. So we can check it further.

Windows 2008 however has urlrewrite support with a web.config control, so if on 2008 you have that in full!

Thanks, I opened a support ticket… Ticket number MTY-85034-530
