I have an XML file that holds some site information, but when tried to write to it (from ASP.NET application), got Access denied.
Maybe there is some special folder that can have write access to ASP.NET account?.

We have added write permission for ASP to this xml file. You should be able to accomplish your task now

Just a common question. If I need a folder or folders where I can upload/create files from within script (not movies or music, files like images, xml, etc.) , how it should be accomplished? Not that I need to right now, but a question for a future, so I will know
We perform many operations like this on a request basis. The reason is purely security. All you will have to do is submit a ticket or post your request on the forum
