I am very new to MSSQL, but know some about databases. Here is what I am trying to do.
1. I am trying to add 3 fields to a table in my MSSQL database on mssql2.jodoshared.com using the MSSQL Manager available through HSphere.
Sometimes, when I make changes, they take effect, while other times a new table called tblSkins_Temp is created (the original is tblSkins) .
Is this evidence that the table is in use while I am trying to edit it, or is this a limitation in the HSphere MSSQL Manager?
Also the default owner of the tables is DBO. When I make a change, it changes the owner of the table to my MSSQL username fo rthat database. Do I have to submit a ticket to have that reverted back to 'dbo'?
