we are getting error in almost all our websites. I think it is a network issue. Event we can not see jodohost.com website.
We are connecting from Spain
 
sending a email a support we got this :

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

[email protected]
Error Type: SMTP
Error Description: No mail servers appear to exists for the recipients address.
Additional information: Please check that you have not misspelled the recipients email address.
 
We have 1: gotten things resolved much faster than last time 2: Banned services (camfrog) that are being targetted by DDOS attackers and 3: working on increased monitoring, sorting, and analytical support of attack patterns improvement, this was all in progress before today's incident after Tuesday morning's attacks.
In addition to this we are working to add additional capacity and routes, this will take a bit longer and would not fully resolve the issue as the attacks were so large we'd need about 15 gigs of capacity to handle it fully internally. We are working to that in the future but not there at this point!
 
Stefen, we appreciate all efforts done..but I have one question:
Are we on cloud platform as advertised by Jodo or not?
What is really meant by it if Jodo Host site itself went down

This has nothing to do with cloud, when the entire switches at every level are flooded out, nothing(or little, between 5-15% did) can make it in :(

It is not geo distributed (at least yet, we are looking into that for addon offerings).

We keep our main site on our network, and the forums off our network.
We have handled dozens of ddos attacks over the years, these two were easily the largest of them to ever come to one of our customers, the target was clear, and the services being targeted we are not allowing further usage of, so we are confident these will cease with that, however we need to plan for more with additional capacities in all regards which is already being done.
 
I guess a geo distribution as an addon is a very important option specially for emails or i will loose my best clients or find them another provider.
I am very interestyed in such an addon as cloud hosting is offered from many hosting companies and what is advertised on Jodo site would definitly give this impression. Please pass my request for this service as an addon.

Cloud, and geo diversity are entirely different however, cloud is not geodiverse, in fact many/most cloud setups are more tied in than any to a single location due to the requirement of shared storage and the like, while some offer a selection of 'cloud locations' in different datacenters, they are not replicated across all automatically by any means.
