There are no updates to EasyApp.
Best to just disable it on all plans, as it is outdated and the packages can't just have files replaced, there is some customization made to make it work. A 3rd party tried to keep them updated but repeatedly ran into changes and issues with it, and just gave up.
Their installs also just never worked that well, always better to install by hand so you know what is needed, and can do updates on your own. All the installer panels have some issues like this, my personal preference is for people to know what they are using and how it is configured, but I know, I know it is not as easy as point and click install, done.
They don't install on windows at all, as we don't allow the service, but on linux they just install as part of the packages.
Also you are 100% right, adding old workdpress install, it will get hacked quickly.
