a client of mine wants a system to manage his contacts, andi thought i'd ask for opinions.

What he needs is basically all regular contact details, and to be able to add on notes by date (like meeting summaries, status updates etc) and also to define according to various criteria.
obviously searching according to criteria (and searching notes) is a must.
an option should also be to mail all contact who fit certain criteria.
NOTE: this is not a sales orientated project (so for example, ACT is not really relevant, and it also seems a lot more than the requirements at this stage).
