A little bird has told me that most of America seems to have speed issues at the moment and that the american internet has nigh on ground to a halt, perhaps we all might feel alittle better with speed issues if this was either confirmed, or hopefully not deneighed?

I haven't noticed any reduction in speed... I have high speed cable and am currently connecting at 2193.5 Kbps.
