Cannot send email TO any address outside my domain

    I WOULD fill out a ticket on this issue if Cerberus would recognize me.... regardless of how many times I enter my HSphere login/password, Cerberus simply tells me that I am not logged in. Anyway ...

    I have a problem with sending email to any address not within my domain (phillabuster . org)

    I have a forum set up on the domain and 'activation' emails sent to any address NOT on my domain(ie: [email protected]) are ever received.

    By a similar token, I can use Outlook to receive mail sent TO [email protected], but cannot send email to an address NOT on the phillabuster domain.
    For example: phill @ phillabuster .org CAN send mail to patt [email protected] phillabuster .org and it works fine, but [email protected] CANNOT send mail to [email protected].
    The aforementioned 'forum' will be able to send it's activation email to [email protected] phillabuster. org but CANNOT send mail to phill. terry @att.net.

    Any help you can offer would be great .. this is driving me crazy.

    Do you have SMTP authentication enabled?

    Not to my knowledge ... ... although "SPF" was enabled (musta been a default thing, as I don't recall enabling it). I disabled it and noticed no difference.

    Id that the "SPF" thing? If so, it was .. if not, how do I enable it?

    What is the error you see in Outlook when you try to send this mail?

    You are suppose to use SMTP authentication to have consistent mailing when using 'mail.your-domain.com' as SMTP server.

    ..ok .. thanks ...

    I get no error ... Outlook sends the mail ... it just 'disappears' from there ...

    I'm sending it FROM: [email protected] TO: [email protected] .. it never gets to the att.net account. I have attempted sending mail to other accounts, as well ... same results(mail never arrives). If I send the mail to
    an account @phillabuster.org, it gets sent to the recipient's account.
