Has anyone tried creating a CDO.message cfobject to be able to send mail that way instead of cfmail (which can queue messages such that they can take 20-60 minutes to be delivered)?
I recently did this, but was wondering if there were any issues with this? Is there any special code you have to put in to kill the object or message after the mail has been sent? Is there anything with a closing tag on cfobject or the cfset tags?
