I usually allow 24 hours for my DNS changes to take affect. I changed my domain 2 days ago and my web site DNS propagated just fine within the first 24 hours. But email is lagging way behind. Is this normal for the email MX record propagation to take much longer?
I'm getting a lot of mail at the new server yet some is still coming in to the old server. And my computer still thinks everything is at the old server. I expected this to happen but not for more than 24 hours since that is the expiration time in the DNS record (or at least that is what I thought).
