Domain Reg for name server

Hi Guys,

What nameserver(s) should I be registering my new domain (through Godaddy.com) under for reseller hosting. If I try to register it under the new domain I have setup it comes back with an error. I have read the documentation including the quick setup but are stiff confused.

Hi Yash,

I have just setup a new reseller account's name server. I am now trying to understand just what nameserver I should be pointing to from my godaddy dns nameserver setting.

If the name server I just setup is ns1.paulsdomain.com, what nameserver should I point my paulsdomain.com dns name server address on godaddy.com. ns1.jodohost.com or what? I tried ns1.paulsdomain.com but that did not work, I also tried pointing to the IP addresess which didn't work.

(paulsdomain.com is not my actual domain just an example)

You have to point it to ns1.paulsdomain.com and ns2.paulsdomain.com if those are what you created in the control panel

BUT

first you have to create those name servers with godaddy. Read the step-by-step guide carefully. And also see the godaddy tutorial above
