email and control panel down

the email server is down!

i was on my way to send a ticket, but the control panel is also down

incoming email is not affected when we bring down the mail server because all mail servers generally try a few times in a 24 hours period to get the email through.

generally that is true but I have found some systems give up after the first try...maybe because they are setup that way??

I've never encountered a system configured like that

CP is showing fine for me. Can you ping cp.jodoshared.com?
