Forum link wrong

The link to the forums on Jodohost.com goes to http://support.jodohost.com/ . So did all my shortcuts I had set to go to the forums. So for several hours I though the forums were down. Then when I finally got in on LiveHost to have a MySQL problem fixed, I found out that the forums are at http://support.jodoshared.com/ (notice it is "jodoshared" not "jodohost").

I may be the only one with this issue, but I doubt it since the Jodohost.com link is wrong. Can a link be placed on the http://support.jodohost.com/ that will take the visitor to the proper forum address, http://support.jodoshared.com/ ? You may fix the website link, but there may be folks trying to access the forums via bookmarks that keep getting the wrong page. So a link on the page to the forums will help.

Sorry, Yash. I just tried it in Internet Explorer, and you're right, it works. But in Firefox (which I recently started using as my default browser) it keeps taking me to the Web Utilities page. I've cleared the cache, but same result.

Is this a Firefox bug? Anybody else having this kind of issue? I switched to Firefox to help avoid this kind of crap. I'll go back to IE if this is standard Firefox behavior.

Edit: Feel free to remove my post from the Chit Chat area about this same thing.

I only use IE and i was getting the same error earlier today. When i clicked the link on the front page i kept getting a the utilities page not the forum.I just put this down to the IP migration and sure enough it was sorted within a few hours. :]

Of course if one can't get here, they can't see this, but this might help:
Start, Run, cmd, press enter.

Type in: ipconfig /flushdns

This wil flush your local DNS resolver cache.

It wasn't a DNS caching problem, I checked the DNS directly using nslookup on your own nameservers. support.jodoshared.com and support.jodohost.com were both pointing to the shared Web2 IP.

OK, I did not know that, but still if someone is having any DNS problems, that is always a good thing to do :)

As I said, if they can't get here, it is not useful for it to be posted here, I just posted it more as reference.

We had manually configured support.jodohost.com as an alias of support.jodoshared.com

Psoft's script overwrote those manually changes and hence the forum appeared down for most of you ...
