I put in two tickets (#11772 #11773) but have never gotten a resolve to this outstanding problem, which has been on-going since Win5 was first restored.
I used to be able to list my domain alias of voices-for-change.com in the mail domain select list in the CP so that I could create mail accounts of [email protected]. I have not been able to recreate these lost mail accounts since the big crash. I received various (conflicting) responses to the tickets, but I still don't have my mail configured and working the way it was for the previous 7 or 8 months since I've been here.
These are the responses I've received:
April 19 (unknown author): It can't be shown in drop-down menu because it's a domain (mail-domain) alias.
April 18 (unknown author): THere is an issue with the controlpanel not showing the domain name in the email option. We are working on the issue with psoft, please wait till they fix it.
April 18 by Yash: Do you mean you'd like to create email accounts for voices-for-change.com? If so, enable mail service for this domain by clicking on it from the control panel. if you want this domain to be also a mail alias of your 3rd level domain, you can enable that option as well by clicking on it from the CP (This was already done by me and since it didn't work I put the ticket in)
April 17 (unknown author): We are working on the problem and get back to you as soon as we fix it.
Is it or isn't it an outstanding issue to be resolved by PSoft or whoever? If not, can I please be provided with step-by-step instructions on how to restore my mail accounts?
The only way I am able to receive mail is to use e-mail addresses of [email protected] in Outlook. I don't want to tell the people who are assigned e-mail accounts to stick "jodoshared" on the end.
Thanks for any help that can be provided.
