Hi there, ive' got a suggestion for hsphere ...
I recently had a problem with my SqlServer database where i had to run some pretty big maintainance UPDATE commands. The results of this was a huge transaction log. The standard setup on your servers means that this space can never be recovered (ie. it can be re-used inside the database, but never release back to the file system).
The support folks were very helpful, and switched on some kind of "auto shrink" option. Don't know much about that, but i think it would be good if it was added to the hsphere panel as an option for the users.
ps. I was also put on "simple recover mode". Does that endanger my data at all? Or is it gonna be fine?
