I have three domains on one account. I created a simple VB program that grabs an empty ASP page from each domain every few minutes and times how long it takes to retrieve it. The test page is in the root folder of each domain.
The VB program uses a web browser control and navigates to the specified URLs.
Two of the sites return similar retrieval times (<1sec), but the third is consistently slower (3-4secs). Web browsing is fine to all three sites, with no noticable lag on the third site.
Can you think of any reason why the third site would return a longer retrieval time than the others? It's not a problem - I'm just interested if you can think of an explaination for this.
BTW - the third domain was added last, if this makes any difference.
