Installing phpBB

I made a MySql database and a user with DBA and a password

I uploaded phpBB2

I started install and filled the fields with what was requested
but keep getting the same error.

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database

I assume Database Server Hostname / DSN= localhost and MySQL 3.x is correct.

Any idea's, anyone.
