Instant Domain Alias - Web 4 - down since Waco

Before the move to Waco I was approached by a client re hosting their website. I set it up (on Web4) and, as the client had not at that time changed the nameservers for their domain to mine, the site was accessed via the Instant Domain Alias given in the control panel.

http://d12397921.e72.MYRESELLERNAME.net/

all was well - until the move to Waco, after which it stopped working. I then had to go away for a few weeks. It's still not working.

I've raised a ticket but am not getting anywhere

[RS #IZS-51780-121]: Instant domain alias not working Web 4

so if Stephen is around please help!!

Thanks
Rob

PS Client has not changed his nameservers yet but wants to see the website I've done for him. I'm in grave danger of losing him! (and the $$$)

it may have just not been redone during the migration process. Instant aliases are pretty easy to fix what you can do is turn them off and back on anytime there is an issue. even if you swap shared to dedicated ip etc and need to 'refresh' the dns you can turn it off and back on to get a new alias with a new random number that will nearly instantly work (have to wait just a minute for nameservers to sync)
