JodoHost today announces official ASP.NET 2.0 support. All new Windows servers that are deployed at JodoHost will now have ASP.NET 1.1 and ASP.NET 2.0 running simultaneously. All customers/resellers who have created end-user accounts on or after Nov 17th, 2005 are already on ASP.NET 2.0 enabled servers. To get ASP.NET 2.0 support on your domains, simply ensure ASP.NET is activated on your domain. Activating ASP.NET will automatically install 1.1 on your domain. After ensuring it is enabled, open a support ticket requesting your domain to be upgraded to 2.0. Please specify each domain/sub-domain you wish this upgrade to be performed on. Once support completes your request, you'd be able to use ASP.NET 2.0 on the enabled domains
Customers/resellers who created end-user accounts prior to Nov 17th, 2005 will be on servers not supporting ASP.NET 2.0. Upgrading these servers to 2.0 has proven to be impossible for us and can cause serious stability issues. Hence these servers will not be installed with 2.0 at least in the near future. However if you need 2.0 support, you can request your account to be transfered to a supporting server, or simply create a new account. All new accounts are automatically on 2.0 supporting servers. If you wish to transfer, simply open a ticket requesting your account be moved to an ASP.NET 2.0 server. A $10 one-time transfer fee is applicable.
