JodoHost Mail Server Blacklisted for Spamming

My main client recently complained that apparently none of his E-MAILs to some of his corporate customers has been getting through lately.

A test & check of his E-MAIL & settings showed his E-MAIL was working and everything was OK on his end. Further checking revealed the apparent cause of the vaporized E-MAILs -

JodoHost's Mail Server at 173.0.129.16 has been Blacklisted for Spamming by SORBS - SINCE JULY 19!!!

Yea, that's not a typo - for nearly 2 1/2 months now. I'm surprised no one over there noticed this for so long.

Please fix this.

Thank you.

This issue is already taken care(already sent him delist request), soon we will add new outgoing ip on server side.

This is mostly happening due to people having a virus/trojan on their PC, or having very weak passwords on their accounts and being used by spammers to send out emails, sometimes it is not a large amount of emails before hitting the email limit thresholds, but only a few is enough to cause a blacklisting (100 being a few in this case) if hitting the spamtraps.

It is not a good situation, but it happens. It has become such a big issue, in the virus and trojan infected PCs being used to send bad mail through legit connections even ones people use daily for their business, that we will likely start in the next 2 months to do outbound spam scanning as well as the existing incoming. Also just to note this IP has little to no bearing on the mail server ability to send mail out since the IP can rotate among a couple IPs. The chances of a listing due to these virus/trojan, or brute force, on a shared server due to it are a bit higher than on a VPS, but it has been seen even on VPS machines that this is an issue.
