Mailing List Setup

Can someone point me in the right direction for instructions on setting up and using a domain mailing list?

I've set up a mailing list via the control panel but I am unsure how users go about signing up and removing themselves from the mailing list.

Okay, just found what I want. I added a new user manually and that exposed the email addresses I needed for signing up etc.
