Meaning of cloud

In your new home page, you use the word "cloud" for all your sales messages. Doesn't cloud mean that you can use a database from anywhere, even the client applications running on PCs? If I remember correctly, you don't allow that in shared hosting. Does your new shared hosting package allow it? Or, do you have a database only cloud hosting that allows that?

Cloud has a number of meanings but no it doesn't mean can use from anywhere. We have no shared package that is totally open database, really only on VPS level can that be done. With the nature of attacks on database systems if you want them externally facing, you really need them on alternative ports that you program for them to be on those alternative ports.
