Previously, I was doing asp.net development on another machine where VS 2008 and SQL Server 2005 was installed along with the SSMS. I was able to restore the jodohost backup which I believe is SQL Server 2000 and work with it locally to develop.
Now, I have installed VS 2010 on a new machine and it installed SQL Server 10 along with it. I don't have much experience with sql server migration/installation. I'm at a loss to understand how to get my Sql data over to the new machine in order to continue development. Will I need to install sql server 2005 and SSMS here?
Also, if I were to migrate Jodohost db also to the latest available, how to do that without breaking things?
