How do you preform a backup using the web based SQL Manager? Adam
E eko Perch Feb 13, 2005 #3 Do a forum search, this has been dealt with extensively. You're advised to use Enterprise Manager.
J jegesmaci Perch Feb 13, 2005 #4 Yes I did a search on it and I used to be able to use the MS SQL web-based for doing an export. Can I not do that now? So the only way to backup is to export from Enterprise Manager? Adam

Y Yash Bass Feb 14, 2005 #5 Hi Adam Sorry for the late response, missed this thread. I believe you can export data using www.aspenterprisemanager.com You can also write a script to export your data. There are a few free scripts I saw at http://www.pscode.com But enterprise manager is the best option. Alternatively, you can always put in a ticket asking for a backup to be placed in your home dir
