MS SQL question

I am trying out MS SQL on the mssql1.jodoshared.com server. I notice that obviously there are a pile of other people?s databases on this server. Out of interest, if we take out a reseller account do we get an environment with only our own databases in it?

You shouldn't worry about the pile of databases from the perfomance front. It can handle 2 times more.

No, resellers don't get a separate environment unforunately. But you do have control over all your clients

Hummm... 2 times you say, what happens then?

They add another MSSQL server :).

The way MSSQL is setup it displays all databases in EM. However you only have access to data on the databases linked to that account. If you would use a web based MSSQL manager such as http://www.aspenterprisemanager.com/ it will only show the databases attached to that username.
