Network Maintenance Window for Hsphere subnet moving to Dallas

Dear customers,

The time has come that we are able to move the Hsphere network addresses to our Dallas Facility as primary network. This maintenance will require some network blips as BGP announcements change facilities and as the network gateways change from the old Waco side to the new Dallas side. We will be able to execute this in such a way that the impact of the change should be minor. There may be a chance of some routes still hitting the Waco side and having to transit the cross site tunnel for a short period of time, but over the course of normal routing it will within a few minutes be shifted entirely to the Dallas facility at preference.

These changes will be tested between 6am - 7am, and announced between 8:30am-9:30am.

It is probably going to be 10:30-12:30pm time that the network changes happen at this point as mail servers not quite moved across yet. We're making sure no mail is lost and doing final syncs between prepared servers, then only going live. The Control Panels also have some changes with the database being exported and brought back in taking a while (this always has taken quite a long time)

Mail servers are still going live in Dallas, we do realize this is making for higher packetloss than we'd ever like to see normally, but we must make them live from Dallas prior to the BGP changes so that we can have them up and live when the routing changes hit. As soon as the last mail servers are live, we will be able to make the routing changes live.

We have moved on subnet on 199.127.217.x now to Dallas for testing it out, without moving the rest yet.

The BGP updates are going well now, we are moving each subnet individually and the BGP routes resolve/change over the minutes after.

We just moved the two subnets with most server base IPs, ping is working but seems not getting all content back in reply, so checking this on priority.

Pings are working, mails are even coming in and we can connect to servers, but some websites are not loading, We're actively troubleshooting this matter.

There was a rather major issue on the final move done, and it was not good, we got all up now and are checking on the final resolution.
