When a new version of software comes out like say .Net Framework 2.0. How long does it have to be out before you decide to add to your systems? What is your procedure for determining the necessity of the upgrade? No biggy, just wondering.
 
It is mostly based on the stability of the new application. The stability (and security) of the servers is most important, most of the time the production servers always lag behind development servers. And since they are all production, they run behind a few months anyway.
