Password on Webalizer

Since Webalizer comes installed on just regular http, not https, is the only way to make your stats secure by setting a folder password to the /webalizer folder? If so, how is this done?

I just did this the other day. Use the File Manager if you are on Unix. You can set username/password on the Webalizer folder. For Windows, I am not sure.

Thanks for the help, I think I got it to work. I got this message when I did the "protect" button on my Webalizer folder:
OK: File :: /mysite.com/webalizer/.htaccess - saved
Does that look right? For some reason I always just thought the .htaccess file should be in the top-level directory only.
