Plesk, features, migration and W2008

Woohoo! First thread in the new forum!

A couple of questions:

  1. Will features such as ASP.JPEG be available on Windows Server 2008 boxes using the Plesk CP? I seem to remember Hsphere being the issue...
  2. Will it be possible, and if so, how difficult will it be to migrate existing Hsphere accounts to Plesk?
 
1. only in 32bit.
2. Not easy yet, but we are testing new things and hope to have an announcement later in the year, sorry but can't expand on this yet as it is about an in development product we are working closely with Parallels on, along with some other hosts. We cannot right now encourage migration, as there are actually some issues with it, Plesk as of now is a single server panel and install and doesn't scale like Hsphere, so we can't get a huge surge of signups and just enable a new server for it, it takes a bit more than that, there are no Plesk reseller plans yet, but will be very soon :)
 
So people asking when plesk reseller plans will launch?

We are still working out a few issues right now, plesk shared is selling well now, and we are learning where we need to focus most resources for reseller side now so we can offer the best service when it launches.
 
:D We have some good news coming in the next weeks, it may not be plesk reseller launching but possibly something even better. The single server nature of plesk makes it quite hard to prevent overloads of servers without major hassles moving resellers(if a rush of new resellers you all end up on the same server without an east 'move' function), so we really want to break in a new market which will open before long and we are working to be there as it starts. I can't say a lot more right now :)
 
I thought that I'd revive this thread, given the increasing attacks on Win2003 server reported in this thread. I'd prefer to have all of our accounts on Win2008 server, but our proprietary CMS depends on ASP JPEG for image management. Any new word on Plesk implementation or other solutions for the Win2008/Hsphere/ASP JPEG issue?
