Hi!
First, the option of PostgreSQL databases hosted on a dedicated database server is one of the great features of JodoHost (for us it was the deciding factor when we chose JodoHost).
However, when we set up our account, I noticed that the version of PostgreSQL is 7.4, while our application only supports versions 8.2, 8.1 and 8.0 (but not 8.3).
Is it possible to have the database hosted on a dedicated server running one of the mentioned versions of PostgreSQL? Or is the only option to install an appropriate PostgreSQL version on the VPS itself? (We would much rather have it on your DB server.)
Other than this, we are so far very pleased with the service.
Thank you for answering and keep up the good work!
Regards,
Jaka
