We have gotten details about the updates being done now.

There will be software updates done on all the core switching platforms that will result in multiple reboots of the switches that may cause an impact in the connections for a short period of time. I will be on standby at the facility if there is any problem, but I am not the one doing this maintenance, it is the core facility switching that is doing upgrades on all links coming in and out.
 
Just a note that tonight/tomorrow early morning you will likely notice several short network disruptions.
 
Looks like our network just went offline. Please note we are in scheduled maintenance window and this is an 'expected' outcome. We should be online soon.
 
There was another outage after Tanmaya posted for about 12 minutes, and it is past now, it was actually two outages in rapid fire as the resets happened quickly together. There is a chance for one more reset happening before the end of the maintenance window.
 
There was another 10 minutes just back from now, there will be a review period and anything seen will be corrected in the maintenance window which still has 2 hours 10 min left.
 
It is up, for a few min now even, it was a shorter outage than the first couple.
 
All the software updates are done at the main switch room now, there are some linked switches being updated now but will not impact us further as long as all goes to plan.
