Service Level Domain must be Unix?

Discussion in 'H-Sphere Reseller Hosting' started by soundcompanies, Jan 12, 2004.

  1. Does the service level domain have to be unix based? In the tutorial, it directs you to select the unix based when setting up your Service/System plan. I thought that the tutorial may have been generalizing but it failed when I attempted to use a Windows Service/System plan for my corp site.

If it must be Unix, won't that in fact restrict my corp site options such as Cold Fusion which is only available under the Windows plan?

I've submitted a more generalized ticket then what I'm asking here, but hopefully you more experienced h-sphere users can help me out on this one.

  2. Wrong forum. Doesn't matter anyway, will not work with unix either.

    I'll wait on the ticket.

It can be Windows as well. Create a Windows plan and select Service Domain
