Setting file limit on particular folder

Hi, I was wondering if I can have a limit to the size of ONE particular folder. For example, if I create a folder where other people will be able to upload/add to it, I would want to cap off a limit at around a few megabites. Is there a way I can do this?

well, you could do it using ASP and FSO... could get the size of the folder and allow access depending on folder size.

Just to clarify, there is nothing on the CP or really that we can do on windows to set this.

Just to clarify, I am on a Linux server. Is there anything with PHP or the .htaccess file I could use?

With PHP you can get dir's usage and if above your quota, deny uploads. Like a few examples here in comments section:
