Setting Up a Datasource

I am very new to jodohost and am very happy!

In reading though I am having a trouble figuring out how to set up my datasources. Is this done through a ticket?

You can do that through the control panel.
From the main (quick access) menu, click on the type of database you want to setup (also found in the toolbar under "Databases"). You have to first create a database. THen you can make your DSN. Click on the "ODBC" option from the Quick Access (icon) menu. Then click on the type of database you are using. Then just fill out the form. Voila.
Note that if you are using an access database, you do not have to setup the database first, you can just upload your mdb file. Good luck
 
no, you were right, send in a ticket...with this info...
If
MS Access:
1. DSN name.
2. Complete path to the *.mdb file
If
SQL DB:
1. DSN name.
2. DB name.
3. DB login and passowrd
4. Database Server:- MSSQL1/MSSqL2/Mysql
 
Just FYI, this is in the coldfusion section, so I take it you mean a CF DSN, if so, it does take a ticket. For a DSN with asp you can do it fully through the control panel.
